It is not important how big the first step is, but in which direction it goes (unknown author). Following the example of IAFN, SAFN is committed to improving the situation for those affected and also to act preventively by raising awareness and informing the population. The development and success of an association depends on many factors. In addition to motivated and committed members engaging for common mission, there are also major hurdles and stumbling blocks to overcome. It may be assumed that Forensic Nursing Associations globally are influenced by the similar hurdles.
The introduction of SAFN along the motto "Vision, Mission, Strategy and Action" is intended to encourage other countries around the world to strengthen their Forensic Nursing network nationally and internationally.
