Dr. Jessica Draughon Moret holds a Ph.D. in Nursing from Johns Hopkins University. An award-winning researcher, Dr. Draughon Moret is dedicated to enhancing health equity, particularly in training healthcare providers and improving access to forensic nursing care for people after sexual and interpersonal violence. As a 2023 Betty Irene Moore Fellow, she is working on a telehealth project to enhance post-sexual assault HIV prophylaxis access. She also serves on the Editorial Board of the Journal of Forensic Nursing. Her publications and innovative projects have a lasting impact on improving healthcare outcomes for people after sexual assault.
