Dr. Williams is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the College of Nursing in the Doctor of Nurse Practice Program (DNP) at the University of Arizona. Her research and clinical expertise include trauma-informed care and resilience, promoting health in resettled refugee populations, HIV care, and domestic violence screening. She has over 20 years of experience working on national and international grants; collecting, managing and reporting data at the county and state levels; and working with community stakeholders to conduct research. Her work incorporates both quantitative and qualitative methods.
