Maggie Macri has been working as a certified sexual assault nurse examiner in Austin, Texas since 2017. She attended Stony Brook University in New York and graduated in 2013 with Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She completed her Master's degree in Nursing Education from the State University of New York at Delhi in 2019. She currently works at the SAFE Alliance in Austin, Texas as a forensic nurse manager.
