Amber Byer is a registered nurse currently working as Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner for the SAFE Alliance in Austin, TX. She has been a nurse for four years with three years in the critical care setting and one year in forensic nursing. She graduated from Texas State University in 2019 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and an Honors Studies minor. She then went on to obtain a Master of Science in Nursing in forensic nursing from Duquesne School of Nursing in 2022. She obtained her CA-SANE in Texas in 2022.
