Sherrie Searcy-Lyle, BA, BSN, RN, SANE-A, director and visionary of UAMS TeleSANE, and has 16 years of experience as an ER RN in a level 1 trauma center. She is dedicated to expanding access to medical-forensic care and expertise to all Arkansas communities. Arkansas TeleSANE now serves 27 hospitals and crisis centers with an additional 7 more Arkansas hospitals currently onboarding in 2024. Sherrie states having access to specialty SANE services influences positive mental and physical health outcomes, just legal proceedings, and safer communities. She serves as the president-elect for Arkansas Forensic Nurse Association and dedicated to supporting the growth of forensic nursing and the fight against sexual violence.
