Madison Weirick is a Research Assistant with Dr. Carolyn Porta in the University of Minnesota School of Nursing. She is currently pursuing an MPH in Community Health Promotion at the University of Minnesota School of Public Health. As a Research Assistant, her work centers on the intersections of nursing, trauma-informed care, and psychedelics. Outside of her assistantship, Madison has worked on several projects including a youth sexual health services campaign and an evaluation of workplace wellbeing initiatives implemented by a local public health department.
