Occupational Health Nurse Scientist
University of Cincinnati
As a PhD student, I am enrolled in the occupational health nursing program and am a pre-doctoral trainee of the NIOSH Education and Research Center (ERC) Grant (No. T42OH008432). My research interests focus on occupational health and wellbeing, informed by the perspective that work impacts home lives and relationships.
My dissertation research has focused on the population of correctional nurses, evaluating their job stress and wellbeing. Preliminary results have highlighted the prevalence of moderate job stress among U.S. correctional nurses, while providing evidence of job stress as a moderator in the relationship between organizational characteristics and wellbeing.
