Stacy Miller is a forensic nurse practitioner. She graduated in 2008 from Luzerne County Community College’s nursing program and started working as an emergency department registered nurse. Stacy received her BSN from Misericordia University in 2018. Stacy continued her education and graduated with her MSN from Vanderbilt University and became triple board certified as an Adult Gerontology Acute Care, Family Practice, and Emergency Nurse Practitioner. Through Vanderbilt University’s Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner program, she was able to obtain two additional certifications in Adult/Adolescent and Pediatric forensic nursing. Stacy is passionate about caring for at-risk youth, patient advocacy, and educating the community about childhood maltreatment. She believes working as a SANE has the potential to change the mental and physical health trajectory of patients who survived the unimaginable.
