Jason Jean received his baccalaureate degree in nursing from the University of Tennessee in 1996, and then completed a Master of Science in Nursing and Doctor of Nursing Practice degrees from the Vanderbilt University School of Nursing. He is a board-certified family nurse practitioner and has focused his practice on cardiovascular health. Dr. Jean has held positions as a bedside and critical care nurse, in-patient/out-patient cardiology nurse practitioner, advanced practice nursing administrator, researcher, a corporate executive for one of the top five health insurance plans, and a nursing educator. Jason currently functions as a cardiovascular pharmaceutical clinical science liaison. He enjoys spending time with his wife and children in the great outdoors and is particularly fond of baseball and fly fishing.
