Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) Program Coordinator

I am Stacey Parsons, the SANE Program Coordinator in St. John's, Newfoundland, Canada. I have been a SANE since 2011. I completed my SANE-A certification with IAFN in 2017 and became the program coordinator in 2020. I am also currently enrolled in the Masters of Nursing Program with a Specialty in Forensic Nursing through Aspen University. I am working on expansion of SANE services throughout my province. I have a passion for continuing education, the field of Forensic Nursing and am a strong advocate for patients, particularly on improving access to services and trauma informed care for health providers.
